This week we are finishing up Literary Non Fiction and writing a memoir.

November 8-9 we will be taking our Expository Test (major grade)

We are also starting to look at poetry in writing using ballads, lyrical poetry  as well as the organization of various poems.

FRIDAY November 11- Veteran's Day Assembly

October 3-7

** remember that if they are doing corrections it is only on daily grades and they have a week after it is turned back to them.

** Homework is due on Thursdays!

Monday-

• stations reviewing plot, conflict, context clues, theme
• finish up rough draft for narrative
• commas lesson

Tuesday-

• Stations continued
• editing narrative with writing partner
• punctuation/capitalization review

Wednesday-

• Reading summative Test(major grade)
• start final draft

Thursday- Homework Due

• continue reading summative Test (major grade)
• continue final draft

Friday- Library Day

• Intro to Literary Non- Fiction
• Narrative final draft due TODAY!
• Writing Summative Test
